By accessing or using SilasAI ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SilasAI is an AI-powered email assistant that:

• Classifies Gmail emails into 5 priority tiers.
• Detects VIP contacts automatically.
• Generates AI-powered email replies.
• Tracks productivity metrics (emails triaged, time saved).

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration.
• Use the Service only for lawful purposes.
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or hack the Service.
• Review all AI-generated replies before sending them.

4. Gmail Access & Permissions

By using SilasAI, you grant us permission to:

• gmail.readonly: Read your emails to classify them.
• gmail.metadata: Analyze email metadata to detect VIP contacts.
• gmail.send: Send AI-generated replies on your behalf (only when you approve).
• gmail.modify: Mark emails as read/archived after you review them.

You can revoke these permissions anytime via Google Account Permissions.

5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: SilasAI uses AI (OpenAI GPT-4o-mini, Anthropic Claude 3.5 Haiku) to generate email replies. While we strive for accuracy:

• AI-generated replies may contain errors or inappropriate content.
• You are responsible for reviewing and editing all AI-generated replies before sending.
• SilasAI is not liable for any consequences of sending AI-generated replies.

6. Pricing & Payments

SilasAI offers the following pricing tiers:

• Beta (Free): Full access during the beta period (until January 31, 2025).
• Pro Plan ($9/month): Unlimited email classification, AI replies, and VIP detection.

Payments are processed via Stripe. All prices are in USD. Subscriptions auto-renew monthly unless canceled.

7. Limitation of Liability

SilasAI is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

• Errors or inaccuracies in AI-generated content.
• Data loss or service interruptions.
• Damages resulting from use of the Service.

Maximum liability: Your total payments to SilasAI in the past 12 months.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms of Service.
• Use the Service for illegal or harmful purposes.
• Fail to pay subscription fees.

You may terminate your account anytime by emailing support@silasai.app.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification.
